Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules for founders using the first10 marketplace. It exists to keep the platform fair for founders and the users who join their campaigns.
You agree not to
- Misrepresent your company, product, or the free 12-month offer you publish.
- Define an Ideal Customer Profile designed to discriminate against protected groups.
- Withhold or revoke promised product access from a matched user who signs up.
- Attempt to bypass the per-genuine-user fee or the feedback mechanisms.
- Misuse feedback or personal data received through the platform, including unsolicited marketing outside the program.
- Probe, scrape, or disrupt the platform's security or infrastructure.
Fair use of matching
The matching system exists to connect you with genuine, ICP-fit users. Manipulating targets, creating fraudulent campaigns, or gaming genuine-user counts is prohibited.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. Serious violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Your responsibilities
In addition to the prohibited conduct above, we expect founders to uphold the following positive obligations:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product and company information in your campaign listing.
- Respond to and review feedback from matched users in a timely manner.
- Honour the free 12-month subscription commitment for every genuine user who claims your offer.
- Report any suspected security vulnerabilities or platform bugs to our team promptly.
- Treat all user feedback — positive or critical — as confidential unless explicitly authorised otherwise.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in platform functionality, legal requirements, or community standards. When material changes are made, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify affected account holders by email or through the platform dashboard. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Reporting violations
If you believe another founder or user is violating this policy, please report it to legal@first10.example. Include as much detail as possible so we can investigate promptly. All reports are treated confidentially.
